Studio Portraits
In my 8th photograph, the light is hitting the model straight on from the left. Her left side is illuminated while her right stays dark, making the photo interesting and dramatic. The shadow above her head is an intriguing addition to the photo because it looks similar to a large baseball cap. The model in the photograph is angled slightly left and the torso is included. She's facing away from the camera and instead looking at the ping pong ball in midair. This photo was taken vertically and a tiny bit below. I was approximately 2 1/2 feet from the model. The model's facial expression is pure interest in what she is playing and shows the model's focused and childlike side. Compared to the photo above it, this photograph is more lighthearted. The 5th photo suggests a secret that the model is hiding and gives off a mysterious mood. The lighting was straight on the model but the cards slightly covering her face provide a cover where she can hide her emotions.
